| I have just recently came across a site that so strange that I just had to find out more. It is based on a phrase from a badly translated video game intro. The game was Zero Wing, which was released on the Sega Genesis. The game seems to only have been released in english in Europe but it has still gained huge popularity in the US. As to WHY it's so popular.....that's a bit of a mystery. The most obvious reason seems to be that it shows how BAD early translations were. It's still just so gosh darn funny though! |
