  • Higher Secondary in 1978 from Scottish Church College, Hedua, Calcutta.
  • Graduated in Electrical Engg (B.Tech, Hons.) from IIT, Kharagpur in 1983
  • Joined National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd., India in 1983.
  • Got Married to Sukalpa in January 1988.
  • Joined Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. in August 1991
  • First child, Soumi, in June, 1991(Daughter), Second, Syan, in Nov, 1998 (Son)
