Background: Teehl's parents were merchants from Coruscant. She was along on a trip with them when she was 16 years old, when their ship was boarded by pirates. She watched as her parents were slaughtered, and she was abducted to become the pirate captain's favorite mistress. Ambition came with age. She won favors among the crew and eventually took over command of the ship Grasp when her partisans mutinied and killed the captain. Since then, they've been doing more mercenary work than pirating, hiring their services to various organizations. They've been known to work for the Empire, other pirate gangs, political figures and even the Rebel Alliance. Lately, Teehl and her crew of 11 have been working as "hired muscle" for Jabba the Hutt.

Personality: Teehl cannot accurately be called ruthless, because she actually cares about every person she betrays and kills. It is simply that she cares more for herself, and every person who has gotten close to her has also gotten in her way.

Objectives: She likes to learn new skills in as many areas as possible. She tires of a job pretty quick and always wants to move on to something different. She also likes to turn everybody against each other.

A Quote: "Must be Ploovo's boys. Jabba'll want at least one of 'em for the Rancor."

Teehl was created by Brad Freeman for the West End Games module "Scavenger Hunt". Pictured model is Caprice Bourret.

Capsule: The pirate ship Grasp is a rather silly-looking, limited production Aratech SkySlayer which was build to look like an old water-based ship from adventure holo-dramas. When it was acquired by space pirate Reddjak, he had it painted red to go with his "Crimson Pirate" image. At that time, the ship had 3 blaster cannons and 3 engines. When Teehl took over, she had it painted black, added one blaster cannon and had the ion drives reconfigured so it had 2 slightly bigger ones instead of 3.
The ship has 3 decks: the upper deck is the bridge and engine room (which extends to the middle deck), the middle deck houses the weapons control room and the bottom deck is the cargo hold, whose 2/3 has been converted to crew quarters, which among pirates is mostly a common room.
