- Beech C-12 Huron: Originated from
Beech King Air, this aircraft is primarily used by the US Army as a VIP transport. At
Mil-Air we utilize this aircraft for short to medium local routes with multiple stops.
Missions included are Utility, Elint, ESM, Sigint, etc. [ENGINES: Two 850shp P&W
turboprops, RANGE: 1790nm, SPEED: 265kt max.]
- DHC-5 Buffalo: This STOL tactical
transport aircraft (initially called Caribou II) was specifically made to meet US Army
duties. Buffalo can carry upto 41 equipped troops and takeoff from a 1000' runway. Mil-Air
aircraft can accommodate 35 paratroops or 24 stretchers. [ENGINES: Two 3133shp GE
turboprops, RANGE: with ferry tanks 3300nm, SPEED: 252kt max.]
- BAe/HS Andover C Mk1: This RAF
military transport version of the Hawker Siddeley 748 airliner, is lengthened by 10 ft,
with rear loading ramp. With considerably more powerful engines, it has a unique short

- Beech T-1A Jayhawk: This
medium-range, twin engine jet trainer is used by Air Education and Training Command to
train student pilots to fly airlift or tanker aircraft. It is a version of the Beech 400A
(Raytheon Corp.). T-1 differs from the 400A in having fewer cabin windows, greater fuel

- Mil-Air Learjet 45: In addition
to a highly detailed landing gear, this aircraft also has visible working flaps, spoilers,
running lights and both red and white strobes. Also, when you shut the engines down, you
will notice that the fan blades become visible. [ENGINES: Two 3500lb Allied Signal
Turbofans, RANGE: 2200nm, SPEED: M 0.81 max.]
- Learjet 60: With its powerful
Pratt & Whitneys this civilian Learjet proved to be one of the most fuel efficient mid
sized business jets, and has a true transcontinental reach. It is certified to a ceiling
of 51,000 ft. In Mil-Air this aircraft is used for VIP missions. [ENGINES: Two 4600lb

- Alenia G-222: Italian made G222
(designated C 27A "Spartan") is a tactical transport aircraft, and modified for
USAF specifications. It can carry 46 troops or 10 tonne load. [ENGINES: Two 3400shp GE
turboprops, RANGE: Full payload range of 740nm or 1350nm with 36 litters and four
attendants, SPEED: 292kt max.]
- CASA C-212 Aviocar: The Aviocar
is a STOL light transport aircraft built by CASA of Spain, It is the best seller aircraft
in his class around the world. This Mil-Air aircraft belongs to 461 Sqdn, based at Gando
Air Base, Canary Islands. Its takeoff run is 1260'. [ENGINES: Two 900shp Garrett
turboprops, RANGE: 775nm, SPEED: 197kt max.]
- Transall C-160: The Transall
C-160 was developed originally to meet the tactical transport requirements of the French
and German air forces, with final assembly lines in both countries. It can carry up to 93
equipped troops. C-160 can airdrop an 8 tonne load. [ENGINES: Two 6100ehp RR turboprops,
RANGE: 2750nm, SPEED: 277kt max.]
- CASA-Nurtanio CN-235: The CN-235
is a tough, simple, cost-effective twin turboprop featuring a pressurized cabin as well as
a large rear freight door with ramp. Mil-Air obtained this ex Ejercito de Chile aircraft
for passenger and light transport duties. [ENGINES: Two 1750shp GE turboprops, RANGE:
810nm, SPEED: 248kt max.]
- Antonov AN-12 Cub: Made in
Ukraine, this veteran aircraft can carry up to 20 tonnes of freight or 90 equipped troops.
Its takeoff run is 2296'. Mil-Air 'Cubs' are based in its IGL, ICK and DIO bases.

- BAe Nimrod MR2: This aircraft
represent Long-Range Maritime Patrol / Elint Aircraft of the 42 (Reserve) Sqn, Kinloss
Scotland. It has a crew of 12 - 2 pilots, Flight engineer, Navigator, Tactical Navigator,
Radio operator, 2 sonic system operators, ESM/MAD operator and 2 observers/loaders.

- Antonov AN- 74 'Coaler': The
Ukranian built AN-74 is used as STOL Transport. Its high mounted engines produce extra
lift by blowing the engine gases over the wing and avoid sucking in dirt from the ground.

- Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker: This
USAF air-to-air refuelling aircraft [from Grissom Air Force Reserve] is carrying fuel in

RANGE: 2500nm operational radius, SPEED: 530kt]
- Dassault Falcon 900: This Royal
Australian Air Force aircraft of 34SQN is used for the VIP transport. Developed from
Falcon 50 trijet, it can carry up to 18 passengers plus two crew. [ENGINES: Three 4500lb
Garrett (now Allied Signal) turbofans, RANGE: 3900nm, SPEED: 500kt]
- GulfStream IV: This multirole
surveillance aircraft from JASDF (Iruma AB) can carry up to 19 passengers. In USAF it is
identified as C-20. It also has ASW, maritime patrol and Elint capabilities. [ENGINES: Two

- VIP Learjet 35 / C-21: At Mil-Air
this aircraft is used to transport military VIPs and their support staff. Although capable
of intercontinental flights, Mil-Air routinely utilizes it for short to medium routes with
multiple stops. [ENGINES: Two 3500lb Garrett turbofans, RANGE: with 8 persons over 2195nm,
SPEED: 471kt max.]
- Kawasaki C-1: This tactical
transport aircraft is operated behalf of JASDF. Made by Kawasaki Jyuukou and Mitsubishi
MHI, Ishikawajima Harima (IHI) of Japan. Takeoff run is 600m and landing run is 460m. It
can carry up to 60 equipped troops. [ENGINES: Two 14500lb P&W turbofans, RANGE:
1810nm, SPEED: 435kt max.]
- Lockheed C-130E Hercules: One of
the best cargo/troop transports designed in the world, C-130E is used for missions to
various locations around the globe. Its ability to land on short and under developed
runways is legendary. Mil-Air is under contract to deliver supplies to regional areas
around the world and uses this aircraft for those hard to reach destinations. [ENGINES:

- Boeing T-43: The USAF T-43 was
originally designed as a navigator trainer. But due to the increased demand for support
persons around the globe it is used at Mil-Air as a medium range passenger transport.
Basically a Boeing 737-200 series, it should be a familiar aircraft to those with flight
sim experience. [ENGINES: Two 14500lb P&W turbofans, RANGE: 2300nm, SPEED: 509kt max.]
- MD C-17 Globemaster: Very
versatile C17 has super short field capabilities with long range performances. It combines
the size of a C-141, the fuselage diameter of a C-5 with the STOL capability of a C-130.
This aircraft will try your flying abilities while climbing to high cruise altitudes.

- Lockheed C-141A Starlifter:
Another mainstay of the USAF, C-141 is used for long distance troop and equipment
deployment. Mil-Air uses this aircraft to fulfill its contracts in regional and
international flights. [ENGINES: Four 21000lb P&W turbofans, RANGE: 2550nm (max
payload) or 5550nm (Ferry range), SPEED: 492kt max.]
- MD C-9 Nightingale: The primary
purpose of this aircraft is for medical transports. Owned by the United States Air Force,
Mil-Air holds several contracts on missions where an influx of patients need to be
airlifted to regional hospitals. Originally a DC-9 Series 50, modifications were made
under USAF specifications. [ENGINES: Two 14500lb P&W turbofans, RANGE: 2538nm, SPEED:
505kt max.]
- Boeing C-32: This aircraft is
mainly used to transport non-combat personnel and VIPs to locations around the world.
Actually a Boeing 757, it can carry 214 to 239 persons depending on the configuration.
C-32 is mostly based in Mil-Air's ADW base. [ENGINES: Two 41700lb P&W turbofans,
RANGE: with 186 persons-2980nm, with max fuel-4000nm, SPEED: 493kt max.]
- Vickers VC10 C1: This VC10 C1
belongs to RAF No.10 Sqn based at Brize Norton, sporting the new grey colour scheme that
is being applied to all VC10's in RAF service. It has seating for 150. In tanker
configuration it can carry up to 80000kg of fuel. [ENGINES: Four 21800lb RR turbofans,
RANGE: 3385nm, SPEED: 505kt max.]
- Airbus A320-200: Aircraft is based
upon the concepts of the proven A300 and A310. The aircraft, just as its predecessors, is
made by the various Airbus partners, those being BAe (24%), Areospatiale (34%), Deutsche
Airbus (35%), CASA (5%) and Belairbus (2%). The A320 uses Airbus's unique sidestick
controls, fly by wire control systems and the now common "Glass Cockpit".

- Airbus A310-300: Aircraft is based
upon the concepts of proven A300. This German Air Force Airbus A310-304 is in new livery
and based in Dresden (Germany). Operated for Luftwaffe Dasa/Elbeflugzeugwerke it is used
for military flights around the world. Developed from original A300B airliner, A310 with
its short fuselage provides the flexibility of high performance modern aircraft for
Mil-Air flights. [ENGINES: Two 53500lb CF6 turbofans, RANGE: 4310nm, SPEED: 484kt max.]
- Douglas DC-8-72F: Operating for
Escadron de Transport "Esterel" of French Armée de l'Air, this DC-8 mainly
being used for strategic and VIP transport. France is the largest military operator of
DC-8 Super 70 aircraft, which is a re-engined Super 60. Mil-Air has been given the
operating rights of this very rare aircraft on behalf of French requirements. [ENGINES:
