Sam's Club 2-Packs

The Madison Sam's Club got in the 2-packs today. There are 4 different ones and come packed as follows:

(1) Battle Droid Shot & Darth Maul Tatooine

(1) Battle Droid Slashed & Darth Maul Tatooine

(3) Anakin Naboo & Obi-Wan Naboo

(3) Jar Jar & Qui-Gon Naboo

Does anyone want to take any guesses as to which ones will sell out first :) Also, these were the only two Battle Droids packed in with Darth Maul and Goblin23 verified this as well.

Classic Comtech

TRU east in Madison and Shopko east in Madison both had these this morning.

Friday, Sept. 17th:

12" Electronic Qui-Gon

Wal-Mart west in Madison had a couple of these this morning. It is on par with the rest of the 12" electronic figures and should be clogging the shelves come Christmas.

Sam's Club 2-Packs

Goblin23 reports finding these in the Milwaukee area. Out of coincidence, I had stopped at the Madison Sam's and they didn't have any.

Anakin Naboo

Wal-Mart Sun Prairie had a case of these in today. Is this the only place getting them? If you see a collection 1 case and aren't sure of its contents, the case ending in a 5 has the Anakins in it.

Classic Comtech

Wal-Marts east & west in Madison along with Sun Prairie had these in today, no sign of R2-D2. Also, has anyone gotten a Greedo with pins in the knees that are yellow (light) instead of green (dark)? If you do, let me know, I am looking for one.

Thursday, Sept. 16th:

TRU east in Madison got in some of the Classic Comtech wave today. Still no sign of R2-D2.

Not much being found lately. I was saving up some of the smaller news items until something else came along, but nothing did so here they are.

Mad Media Con

Mad media Con is being held this weekend at the Dane County Expo Center. Anthony Daniels, Timothy Zahn, and others will be there. See www.madmedia.org for details.

TRU West

TRU west got a lease on life, or at least until April of next year. They should be moved in to the new store on Fish Hatchery Rd. by the time the old store is closed. The new store is much smaller than the other is and they won't be able to carry as much merchandise.

Masterpiece Edition C-3PO

If you haven't already ordered one, you should start thinking about it. It is due out in October. Amazon.com has it listed here for $52.50, if you know of a cheaper place, let me know.

FAO Exclusive Faamba with Gungan Soldier

FAO is now taking pre-orders for this. It is huge (20" long) and looks pretty cool although it doesn't look overly articulated. The price is pretty steep at $75 each plus shipping. I ordered two and the total was $166.95. To order, call FAO at 800-426-TOYS and ask for item 337519. Keep in mind that they are on the east coast and that you will need to call early in the day. I was told that it would ship some time after Jan. 15, 2000.
