Sunday, July 23rd:

12" Speeder Bike

Beth reports that, while on a road trip, spotted the 12" Speeder Bike at the Targets in Wausau and Stevens Point. In both cases, they were out on the shelves. No signs of the Y-Wing at those stores.

Rebel Pilots & More at KB Toys

Kay Bee Toys east in Madison got in a boatload of Rebel Pilots & Skiff Guards today. The Skiff Guards went fast since they are only two per case, but there are a lot of Pilots left at $7.99 each.

In addition to the 3-packs, they also got in tons of Amidala Dolls ranging from $4.99 to $14.99, Micro Machine stuff, and 12" Obi-Wan vs. Darth Vader. The 12" Obi-Wan vs. Darth Vader was originally a JC Pennies exclusive, but KB has them now for $24.99. The east store had one case of 4, Ray H. reports that the west store had them yesterday as well.

Y-Wing Fighters

Target east in Madison had a few Y-Wing fighters sitting on an end cap yesterday. What a find! This is a real nice looking ship and it comes with a generic Rebel pilot figure. The figure could be better, but it isn't too bad either. What makes this find so great was that Target had them marked on clearance for $9.90 :)

12" Speeder Bike & Biker Scout

I was able to pick up one of these at Target Janesville. It is absolutely huge and very well done. The one that I got came in a very crushed box, so I will keep looking for a nicer one. The price on this Target exclusive is $49.99, but I have heard that they will be $39.99 when the add flier goes out on 8/6/00. Ian reports getting one there, as well, that night. We were both told that the one we were given was the last one. Something doesn't add up.
