12" IG-88 Wave
I got my case of 12" IG-88 wave figures today that I ordered from Entertainment Earth. They arrived in great shape and were double boxed. The case breakdown is (2) IG-88, (2) Bossk, and (2) 4-LOM. All I can saw is WOW! I have been anticipating this wave for a long time and was sure that Hasbro would screw it up somehow, instead they delivered the best wave of 12" figures to date. IG-88 is too cool; I can't wait to get him opened up. Bossk looks really good as well; there is a lot of little detail in his flight suit that I wasn't expecting. He doesn't seem to sport the long neck that we have seen in the promotional pictures. 4-LOM is probably the weakest of the group, but he is still plenty cool. His biggest flaw is that he is lacking articulation at the elbows. If Hasbro can follow up these with another wave just as good, they just may be able to save the 12" line.
Biker Scout Wave
These guys were everywhere today. I saw them at Wal-Marts east in Madison and Sun Prairie as well as Target east in Madison. I hope this is a sign that production is picking up a little. The last couple of waves have been pretty hard to find.
Cheap Watto's Box 3-Packs
Dave P. tells me that Kay Bee Toys east in Madison got in a few of the Watto's Box 3-packs. They are priced for clearance at under $10 (I can't remember exactly how much).
