Plo Koon Wave
I found these today at a very unlikely place, K-Mart south in Madison. I don't usually stop at K-Mart, but today I had some extra time a hit the jackpot. The best figure of the bunch is Plo Koon. He has a nice paint job along with the added articulation at the elbows. IG-88 is a completely new sculpt (see comparison shot), but only comes with one gun. The articulation is quite a bit different from the figure that came in the SOTE 2-pack. His head now swivels just below the eyes instead of at the shoulders. His torso now swivels up higher, and his bandoleer is removable instead of being molded in. Pretty nice, but I think that he should have come with his small gun as well. K-3PO isn't too bad, but he is a repaint of TC-14. He does come with a nice accessory. The Mon Calamari Officer has more in common with Admiral Ackbar than I thought. He is molded only slightly different. Basically, take Admiral Ackbar and remold his shoes, the emblem on his chest, and his right hand and you have this figure. It does appear that his helmet is removable. All of the figures come on .0100 cards with 0000 Force Files.
Biker Scout Wave
K-Mart south in Madison also had the Biker Scout wave. I haven't seen these in a while. It seems that the Darth Vader Dagobah wave has been the only Collection 1 wave hitting as of late.
TRU Report
TRU west in Madison had some of the classic CommTech figures today. Ian reports that they had 6 cases of them. Again, no R2-D2 with Holo Leia figures to be found.
Wal-Mart Price Drop
A quick update on this; all of the Madison area Wal-Marts now have dropped their price on POTJ figures. Not all of them have change the price on the pegs, but they do all scan at $5.86.

TRU Report
TRU east in Madison got in tons of stuff today. The first thing that I noticed were the pegs of classic CommTech figures. I counted 28 Stormtroopers amongst the Darth Vaders and the rest of the gang. Like you would guess, not a single R2-D2 with Holo Leia in the bunch. I really wanted to just see this figure on the shelves. I picked up a bunch of Stormtroopers, who couldn't at $1.97 each? Next thing that caught my eye were AAT Tanks. They had 5 of them for $17.99. I'm sure that they will go fast. Lastly, they had some of the 12" Sith Lords 2-packs on the shelf. I looked up to find tons more of them on the riser. There were 37 of them in all. Ian reports that TRU west in Madison also had a few of these 2-packs. I would bet that they have a lot more in the back room.
Wal-Mart Price Drop
Dave P. reports that Wal-Mart east has lowered their price on POTJ figures down to $5.86. All Wal-Marts should soon have their figures down to this price. I'm glad one of the retailers finally brought the price down to be more in line with what they pay for them. I hope that the rest follow suit.

12" Sith Lords 2-Pack
TRU east in Madison had two of these 2-packs on the shelf today. They seem to be hard to come by for now. Otherwise, not too much else showing up in the area except plenty of Vader Dagobah wave.
