ROTJ Hallmark Mini Lunch Box

Thanks to Chris P. and Ian for the heads up on this. Hallmark has now released the ROTJ mini lunch box. This is the 3rd in the series (and last I would assume) of the lunch boxes in the Star Wars line. The price is $10.95.

Aurra Sing Wave

Yay, I finally got hold of the Aurra Sing wave thanks to an after work stop at Target west yesterday. I may be one of the last people in the area (regular contributors anyway) to get any of these figures, but I will do a quick review anyway. Aura Sing comes on a .0300 card, one of her guns is removable from its holster while the other is molded in place. She has ball joint shoulders, but her right arm is molded in a weird position. Overall a nice figure except the one I have has a poor paint job. Chewbacca Mechanic is a huge figure maybe 1/2" taller than the original. He also comes on a .0300 card, has goggles, a welder, and his right arm has a swivel joint. Without opening one up, it doesn't appear that the goggles would fit on his head meaning that he would have to hold them. Not too bad since that is what he does in the movie. The only real drawback is that a bowcaster wasn't included. Leia Bespin Escape is a tiny figure maybe 3/8" shorter than Leia New Likeness. She also comes on a .0300 card, has two imperial blasters, and both elbows have swivel joints. It is weird having her being so small compared to the other Leia figures. I also wish that the blasters were black instead of gray.

Coruscant Guard Ships Again

I have found Coruscant Guard, Mas Ameda, Tusken Raider, and Porkens all on .0300 cards. It appears that they are now shipping in a case with Saesee Tiin and Queen Amidala. Although we could really use some more Coruscant Guards and Mas Ameda, Porkins and especially the Tusken Raider were not really needed.

Steve W. E-Mail Me

I am having a hard time determining the differences between the Queen Amidala with flesh colored legs and with purple legs. You are my only hope in figuring this out since you have seen both versions.

12" IG-88 Wave

TRU east in Madison had a 12" IG-88 and two 12" 4-LOM figures tonight.

Insider Issue #53

I got issue #53 of the Star Wars Insider today. This is the issue with Chancellor Palpatine on the cover. These issues sure seem to be coming at a fast pace. The content is getting down there though.
