12" Padme Wave

Ray H. reports that TRU west in Madison had one each of this new wave of 12" figures. Included in this wave are Padme, a new Anakin, and Geonosian Warrior. Ray passed on Padme and Anakin citing them as being ugly. He did pick up the Geonosian Warrior who includes a pike, adjustable wings, and appears to have articulated elbows.

Friday, Jan. 31st

Darth Tyranus Wave

It has been pretty slow lately, so I was surprised when my wife, Jenine, brought home these figures today. She found them at Wal-Mart east in Madison and they appear to come in a case that includes Destroyer Droid and Yoda with chair. Figure #01 is Obi-Wan Kenobi (Acklay Battle) while figure #03 is Darth Tyranus. Missing from this wave was #02 who is the new Mace Windu figure. Obi-Wan comes with a spear, Lightsaber, handcuffs and a chunk of pillar from the Geonosian arena. He does include "spear throwing action", but doesn't seem to have any extra articulation. Darth Tyranus includes his Lightsaber and Force lightning. He does look to have quite a bit of extra articulation including a ball jointed left shoulder, swivel left elbow, and "dueling action" on his right arm. Now if only the last batch of figures from last year will show up.
