Target East Report

Target got in a couple things today. First, they had a fresh case of Snowtrooper wave figures. For those that keep track, the Luke Jedi figure now has the corrected hands. Next, they had a case of the Clone Wars 3-packs. I would have liked to see the case with the Jedi Knight or colored Clones, but this was from the first assortment and the Clones were all white. Last, but not least, was a case of Saga Scene 3-packs. This wave includes half of the Geonosian War Room and the first section of the Jedi Council. San Hill looks pretty good although I expected him to be taller. He includes ball joint shoulders as well as the normal articulation. Dooku includes a holographic projection of the Death Star. Poggle the Lesser seems a little large to me, but otherwise is a very good likeness. Of course, there is also a very well done war table that looks great. Mace Windu looks OK at first glance, but then you notice he has articulated knees and ball joint shoulders. This is a major plus in my book. He is definitely one of the most articulated Mace figures around. Even Piell looks good and includes a swivel joint on his right arm. Oppo Rancisis includes a flexible tail, swivel wrists and, I understand small arms under his cloak. Both sets are well worth picking up even at about $20 each.

TRU East Report

Aaron writes in that TRU east in Madison got in a few cases of Clone Wars 3-packs yesterday. Included were green Clones and Jedi Knights. He also saw several of the Ultimate Bounty sets. All that I saw today after work were some Destroyer Droid launcher sets a handful of the Ultimate Bounty sets.
