Yoda's Face

Every detail in the face of Yoda, the Jedi teacher in Empire Strikes Back suggests his wisdom and intelligence. His green body is dwarfed by his huge head. His high forehead gives the impression of a large, busy brain. Beneath his forehead his expressive eyes show both disappointment and hope at his young pupil's progress. His huge pointed ears that reach the same level of his eyes show the ability to take in sounds that others would miss. Below his eyes, a smallish nose twitches in response to events around him. At the bottom of his face, a mouth that knows how to stay shut reveals his ability to concentrate. At first site; Yoda may appear ugly, but as you see his great intelligence at work, his face begins to show the wisdom of Jedi master.
