Born to an isolationist family, Ainu was home schooled for most of the early years of his life.
However, around age 16, his parents realized his potential was much more than was of use at home and sent him to serve in the local militia forces so that he would have the opportunity to make a life for himself.
Showing potential, he was put up to attend Starfleet Academy on Earth. Having never heard of such a place due to being from an isolationist family in a small town, he figured that his superiority would continue. This was not the case however.
Upon arriving at the Academy, Ainu found himself toward the bottom of his class the first year.
Slowly he worked his way back to a respectable spot in the upper-middle of the class by his senior year.
Wishing to go into the intelligence field, Ainu enrolled in advanced classes for two additional years before receiving his assignment to the USS San Fransisco. |

Somewhat overweight, Ainu Na'Lon appears rather un-intelligent.
Resembling the typical Lineman in football, he much prefers peaceful solutions to problems than direct confrontation.
He is a quiet individual, preferring more to watch from the corner of a room to interpret the entire picture than to be in the middle of the action.
He likes to explore and try new things, as long as it isn't overly dangerous. |
