| History: |
Born on Earth, 2343, Ireland, while his father was on duty. Spent the early part of his childhood there. Moved to San Francisco with his mother in 2353 and completed his education in a San Francisco High school.
In 2359 he entered starfleet academy and majored in Security/Tactical and minored in command. Graduated first in his class with the rank of Ensign, and recieved commondations from his senior officers. He recieved a scar on his left arm when he risked his life to save his classmates during a training exercise that went horribly wrong.
In 2363, he entered an advanced training course in security and tactical and gained experience in methods of dealing with enemy attacks.
Once the course was completed he was promoted assigned to the USS Yorktown as a security officer, Lt. (junior grade). Spent 3 years there and was a regular on away missions. Saved the captains life when the away team were ambushed. Became a good friend of the Captain while stationed there.
In 2368, he was recommended for posting aboard the Endeavour by the captain of the Yorktown. Spent a furthur 2 years as Chief of Tactical there and was promoted to Lieutenant.
In 2370, he was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and was posted at Utopia Planitia Shipyards to oversee the construction and testing of the Starfleet ships.Once such project that he headed was
the design of a more powerful Defiant Class vessel. He oversaw the design phase, but before the new ship left the drawing board, he was re-assigned.
In 2372, he was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and made first officer of the USS Atlantis. Took part in the retake of DS9 in 2374. During battle the captain was killed and he had to take over the ship and helped the federation to victory.
Recived the Federation cross for bravery and was promoted to Captain.
After thre retake of DS9, he was given command of a new class of Starship, one he had help design at Utopia Planetia, the Tobias.
In 2375, after the defeat of the Dominion and Breen, the Tobias was recalled to earth and assigned to the newly constructed Starbase McCoy. Hunt received a promotion to Rear Admiral and became the stations commander. |
