Dane opted for small vessel piloting and support services as his enlisted emphasis. On duty, he followed the rules to the letter. Off duty, he tended to catch the eye of his commanding officers with unorthodox activities involving hover bikes, and other high velocity vehicles.
His praiseworthy piloting, as well as his ambitious nature led him up the ranks. Seeing little opportunity in remaining simply enlisted, Dane applied to the Starbase T’Plana-Hath Warrant Officer Training Program. He graduated with honors, and set a new speed record for the piloting course. |

Dane’s family consisted of his father back on Earth. His father was a civilian shuttle pilot, and amateur hover bike racer. His daredevil attitude inspired Dane to follow in his footsteps.
With Dane, however, his father’s races and flights were not enough to retain his interest. From more of what would be considered 'the working class' most of his life, Dane’s father’s ambitions fell short.
Dane’s ambitions, however, were not to be denied. He lacked the in-depth educational background to pass the Starfleet Academy Entrance Exam, but found the Enlisted Application to be something that, with work, he could succeed at. He applied, and was accepted as an enlisted crewman. |

A specialist in flight control systems since joining Starfleet, Dane has had Advanced Tactical Training and Fighter Pilot training. He is a natural choice to pilot one third of a Prometheus class vessel in MVA mode. |
