| History: |
Stone's family worked in outer space from the moment he was born. His parents, being Exo-biologists spent many years cataloging planets for Federation surveys. He was tutored privately by the outpost computers.
The Stone's spent many years working on several planets at the outer fringes of the Alpha Quadrant. Then, after his fifth birthday, his parents were killed by an unidentified enemy vessel. As they were the only inhabitants of the planet at that time, Quintan was left alone for four years, until he was picked up by a band of Klingon warriors who took him in after admiring the way he had survived four years on a hostile planet.
He then spent the years between 9 and 17 with these Klingon warriors, onboard the Battlecruiser Ka'Chaa.
Here he learnt the basics of ship control and was his introduction to space. He learnt the Klingon way of Honour and developed his fighting skills. He became a crack shot with a disrupter rifle and also became proficient in the use of a Bat'leth. On one occasion during an away mission, he saved the lives of two injured Klingon warriors when he killed a group of five Cardassian pirates who had taken them hostage. It was during this combat that he received the scar on his right cheek.
He then returned to Chronos to petition the Emperor to allow him to return to Earth. Because of his exemplary service to the Klingon Empire the Emperor allowed him to do so, but reminded him of his debt to the Klingon Empire.
Quintan then returned to Earth to find that he no longer fitted in. It took him several years to adapt to his new way of living, working a training instructor until a friend recommended Starfleet to him.
He applied for a position in security and was accepted by the Academy. Academically, he was fairly standard except for his combat and survival training. Here he excelled and in fact won the yearly phaser rifle shooting competition each years. He was top of the class for hand to hand combat and also melee combat. He became proficient with every type of hand to hand weapon and many projectile weapons from other cultures and races before graduating into the Security ranks.
Due to his previous experience he also excelled at shuttlecraft pilot, getting a triple A rating, something almost unheard of from a cadet. However he struggles sometimes with authority and still has trouble fitting in amongst humans due to his background. |
