History: Helspont has a wide range of powers that are mostly unknown but included invulnerability, superhuman strength, and powerful energy discharges.
Helspont, a Daemonite Lord, was first seen in recent times when he and the gang that belonged to Slaughterhouse Smith tried to take over a nuclear weapons facility in the 1950's. This group grew to the international criminal organization called the Cabal.
A few years ago Helspont tried to bring a army of Daemonite ships through a portal only to be thwarted by the WildC.A.T.s. They left Helspont dead buried under tons of rock.
Helspont was not dead and slowly dug himself out and returned during the events known as Wildstorm Rising. During this time Stormwatch tried to stop him from gaining access to the Daemonite Dreadnaught, which was capable of destroying the Earth. Helspont bested Stormwatch easily and the Warguard was released to deal with him. They did no such thing
Helspont was felled by the weapons of the Kherubim warship and was placed in lockdown by Stormwatch. He remains there today.
