History: Henry Bendix is a normal human being with a sharp mind and immense responsibility. He has the ability to consider huge amounts of data and to make quick, calm decisions. He is aided in his role as monitor of all global actives by cybernetic implants which link his cerebral cortex directly to the Skywatch computer net.

Career bureaucrat Henry Bendix was headed for a solid career in the National Security Agency when he was tapped for the Skywatch position. As Stormwatch Control Officer, he lives and works on Skywatch. Under his command are hundreds of geo-analysts, each responsible for monitoring his or her own micro-sector of Earth and reporting those findings, via cyber-communication technology, to Weatherman One. Bendix processes the information received and decides whether or not a situation warrants sending a Stormwatch team.

When a series international violations were committed by Battalion while rescuing the missing members of Stormwatch Prime, Weatherman took the full brunt of the U.N.'s punishment, causing his removal from command.

During this time of removal from Skywatch, Henry helped Winter and Cannon, who were both AWOL from Stormwatch, in defeating the M.A.D.1 project. To do this, Henry donned a version of his old Think-Tank armor, which he used in while in Team One years ago.

Henry was returned to command to deal with the threat of by Despot and has remained there since.

Durining the events known as Fire From Heaven, the world almost ended. Yet Stormwatch spent most of the time on the wrong side, manipulated by a false Kazien Gammora. This helped Bendix come to the decision to reform Stormwatch as it is today.

When the real Kazien Gammora was freed from his imprisonment, he started a campaign of terror by blowing up an English passenger jet. On the jet was a mutated version of the Gen Factor, which gives many SPB's their powers. Hundreds of people were killed, from the explosion and the mutated Gen Factor.

Unable to legally touch Kazien, Bendix sent Stormwatch Red to the Island of Gammora, where Fahrenheit and Flint did structural damage to the island, and Rose Tattoo killed the same number as on the plane. 1
