In this offbeat issue we saw how the lives of Peter Parker and Eddie Brock intersected as the wall-crawler frantically searched for his missing costume, and winded up back in his old black-and-white suit.
But this simple change of clothes was enough to enrage Venom, who was trying to get back her ex-wife. He attacked the Spider-Man, they fought and ended up discussing about wives and that everybody deserved to be happy together with someone, even the evil Venom. Spidey promised to leave him in peace, because he would try to live with his wife, but a scream finished the discussion. Venom hurried and discovered that his ex-wife had tried to commit suicide, jumping from the window of her apartment. When he got there, she was being taken by an ambulance. More than desperated, Venom promised that from now on he would turn the Spider-Man's life into a nightmare. |  |

Certain airline company send a box to Peter Parker, and it arrived at his home, at the Queens, but Peter was wondering around Manhattan, where he catched a couple of robbers who had hijacked a baby who was inside a car, when they stolen it.
Determined to discover the truth regarding the supposed death of Mary Jane, Peter Parker, at first, did not accepted the box as a sign of his wife's real death. But when all his friends reunited at Aunt May's house, Peter had to admit the truth. He and Aunt May said they would miss Mary Jane, but the life would continue. And finally Peter was in peace with himself. |
