"It was the dawn of the Third Age of Man Kind, ten years after the Earth-Minbari War. The Babylon Project was a dream given form. It's goal: to prevent a war by creating a place where humans and aliens could work out their differences peacefully. It's a port of call, a home away from home for diplomats, hustlers, entreprenuers, and wanderers; humans and aliens in two million five hundred tons of spinning metal, all alone in the night. It can be a dangerous place, but its our last best hope for peace. This is the story of the last of the Babylon Stations, the year is 2258, the name of the place Babylon 5."

- Commander Jeffrey David Sinclair, Season 1 Narration

Welcome to the official home page for Babylon 5: Between Darkness and Light MUX, an online roleplaying game based upon the famed television, science fiction series Babylon 5. We believe in creativity and individualism with our players; therefore, we do not follow the series timeline. We are proud of our friendly players and staff who have worked tirelessly on the game at large. We only recently found out there are strength in numbers. Our database took a dive when our game's machine crashed majorly. The players stuck around and supported us throughout the entire ordeal. We lost everything, thus having to start from scratch. The MUX Administrators, Kitten and Dinosaur, would like to thank the Producers and Players that have stuck with us and given us the amount of support they have.

Our main goal for our game is to provide an enriched environment for roleplay through user friendly code and well developed tinyplots given by our TP staff. We have an excellent character approvals staff which will work hand in hand with you, even if you do not know the Babylon 5 Universe. We offer tutorials for newbies that are new to mu*ing all together.

Our Staff believe in player respect and staffly respect. We believe that honesty is the best policy. If you make a mistake be honest and admit it, then resolutions can be achieved. We believe that the players have rights and have voice even in mux matters. Our staff are friendly and hardworking. We do not believe in lying to our players, we pride ourselves on our Producer Honesty. They know Wiz-Ethics and attempt to personify the ideal Wizard in any given situation. If we make mistakes we will admit to them rather than tucking them neatly under the carpet as most MU*s do.

Our players are given freedom to expand upon their characters through roleplay and skill development. All matters on the game itself are to be 'canon' to the Babylon 5 Universe. Our description of canon is simple, anything that is within the bounds of the series. For example, we will not see Ivanova flip open a cordless telephone to contact C&C. We give each player that comes to our mux information in our newbie room incase they are not familiar with mux itself.

With all this said, we can sit here and tell you more and more about our game. The best way to gather information on anything in life is to experience it first hand. Please log into telnet:mux.net:2555 to check out our game. All the talking in the world here will not convince you unless you've experienced us.
