Two opposing armies try to outwit each other as they try to secure an objective.
Victory Points, Reserves and Infiltration special rules are used.
1 The mission objective is a 6" radius from the center of the board. Ideally, this will be represented by a building, some other structure, a hill or wood (etc).
2 Players decide which of their troops will be held in reserve before deployment.
3 Deployment zones are along the long board edges. Players may place units within 12" of these edges. Roll D6s to see who must place a unit first, but players take turns to deploy units.
4 Roll D6s to see who gets the first turn.
Determine a victor using the Victory Points method. In addition, a player with units that exclusively occupy the the objective at the end of the game will get the points value of those units as extra victory points.
For each reserve unit, roll a D6 to see if they can enter play:
Turn: 2 3 4 5+ Needed: 3+ 2+ 2+ Autoany units in reserve may enter play by the player's own board edge or by any adjacent board edge (ie - the short ones). Any reserve units with the Infiltrator ability may enter play via your opponent's board edge if you wish.
The game lasts 6 turns.
Troops that are forced to fall back do so towards their own table edge.
