In this mission, two sides slug it out for suppremacy on the field.
Victory Points, Reserves and Deep Strike special rules are used.
1 Set up the board as normal. Each player rolls a D6, the highest choosing a board edge (relevant for reserves and falling back).
2 Players divide their forces, declaring which (if any) will be held in reserve.
3 Each player rolls a D6, the highest placing a unit first. The unit may be placed anywhere on the board. The other player then places a unit anywhere not within 12" of an enemy unit. Players take turns to place units, placing them no closer than 12" to an enemy model.
4 Roll D6s to see who goes first.
Determine a victor using the Victory Points method.
Reserves are brought on via players own board edges according to the normal rules. Units with the Deep Strike ability may be deployed as per these rules.
The game lasts 6 turns.
Troops that are forced to fall back do so towards their own table edge.
