OVERVIEW

A defending force is preparing to defend a position against an aggressor.

SCENARIO SPECIAL RULES

The defender may use the rules for Obstacles; the attacker uses the Reserves and Infiltrator rules. Victory Points are also used.

SET-UP

1 Set up the board as normal, placing an objective (building, counter or whatever) in the center of the board.

2 Players roll D6s to determine who is the attacker and who is the defender.

3 The attacker may declare any units with the Infiltrator ability to be Reserves. This must be done before the defender deploys or the units must enter with the main force.

4 The defender sets up first, placing units anywhere on the board. Obstacles may be placed as the player sees fit.

5 The attacker does not deploy at the start of the battle, but does declare which board edge his units will enter by (after defender deployment).

6 The defender goes first. Although there are no enemy units on the board yet, the player may wish to move troops since he now knows where the enemy will be coming from.

7 The attacking units enter on the attackers first turn via the designated board edge.

MISSION OBJECTIVE

The player that controls the objective at the end of the game gains +200 victory points.

RESERVES

The attacker may hold Infiltrator units in reserve. These units may enter via any chosen board edge, but the player must use the Reserves rules when determining when they become available.

GAME LENGTH

The game lasts 6 turns.

LINE OF RETREAT

Attacking units fall back to the board edge chosen by the attacking player as his entry edge. Defending units fall back to the opposite board edge. 1
