OVERVIEW

Two opposing forces must identify strategic points and secure them before the enemy.

SCENARIO SPECIAL RULES

After set-up, players should draw a 2x2 grid representing the quarters of the board. Board quarters are numbered 1 to 4. Each player rolls a D4 (or a D6, re-roll 5 or 6). Assign increasing values from 1 to 4 to each quarter counting clockwise from the result - this is the value of that quarter to that player. Players will have to hold a quarter to gain those points (as per the Cleanse mission). The example table shows Player 1 rolled a 1 and Player 2 rolled a 2.

SET-UP

1 Set up scenery as normal.

2 Players each roll a D6. The player with the highest score picks a board quarter and places a unit within it. The opposing player places a unit within the opposite quarter. Players take turns to deploy units within their quarters until all units are on the board.

3 Players roll D6s to determine who goes first.

MISSION OBJECTIVE

In the same manner as the Cleanse mission from the 40K rule book, players must sieze board quarters to win. However, instead of counting board quarters, players must add the value of each board quarter they control to determine their result. Each board quarter will be worth between 1 and 4 points as determined at the start of the game.

RESERVES

Reserves are not used.

GAME LENGTH

The game lasts 5 turns.

LINE OF RETREAT

Troops fall back to their own board edge. 1
