OVERVIEW
A unit of military importance is down behind enemy lines. The unit must be recovered before it is captured or destroyed.
SCENARIO SPECIAL RULES
No special rules are used. The Defender must pick one infantry unit with a movement rate of 6" from his force to act as the stranded unit. This unit may not be targeted, assaulted, or approached within 12" by an enemy before turn three unless it moves, shoots or another unit moves within 12" of it.
SET-UP

Scenery is placed as normal.

The Defender places the target unit within 12" of any board edge, preferably in a position that hides it. Whether the unit is hidden or not from the enemy, the rules for attacking it still apply.

The Attacker chooses a board edge opposite either board edge the target unit is next to.

The Defender's forces enter by the board edge adjacent to the attacker's board edge, but opposite to the target unit's corner.

The Attacker goes second and moves models on via the Attacker's board edge.
MISSION OBJECTIVE
If any members of the target unit make it off the Defender's board edge, or if they survive to the end of the battle, it is a Defender victory. If the unit is wiped out, it is an Attacker victory.
RESERVES
Reserves are not used.
GAME LENGTH
The game lasts 7 turns.
LINE OF RETREAT
Troops fall back to their own board edge.
