An enemy seeks to eliminate key targets before a major offensive.
Reserves, Victory Points and Hidden Set-Up special rules are used.
1 Set up the board as normal.
2 The defender chooses how many units will be targets for the attack (an even number of minimum 2). The defender chooses half of these targets while the attacker chooses the remainder (all these units are in the defender's force).
3 The defender chooses a board quarter and deploys using the Hidden Set-Up rules.
4 The attacker deploys in the opposite board quarter at least 12" away from any enemy troops.
5 The attacker always goes first.
Determine a winner using Victory Points. The Attacker gets double victory points for totally destroying target units while the defender gets the victory points value of any target units that survive to the end of the game.
The Defender may hold non-target troops in reserve. These enter play as per the normal reserves rolls and may enter via any board edge on which the defender's deployment zone lies.
The game lasts 6 turns.
Units falling back do so towards the nearest edge of their deployment zone.
Note: Gaining Victory Points For Friendly Troops.
