Here is a quick brief at what we will see on Episode I...don't worry, no spoilers attached...

Liam Neeson will play the role of a venerable jedi knight named Qui-Gon Jinn. He will be the one who discovers Anakin and his affinity with the Force.

Ewan Mc Gregor will play the role of the famous jedi knight Obi-Wan Kenobi on his younger years. As we all know from the previous trilogy, Obi-Wan is pivotal on developing Anakin's destiny.

Anakin Skywalker is played by Jake Lloyd. Episode I will introduce us to the journey of a young boy, who is beginning to understand the important role that he will play later on.

Natalie Portman plays the beautiful queen Amidala. Eventually she will be Anakin's wife and the mother of Luke and Leia. She also has an important journey yet to be discovered.

A much younger Yoda, played again by Frank Oz, will be giving his advice to the jedi knights. As he did with Luke, he will be giving his knowledge and wisdom to the young Anakin.
