Doria
Insects that live off of living machines, they have acidic blood and
teeth strong enough to eat through the toughest metals. Their weakness
is the cold. These insects only made an appearance in the Transformers:
Victory series
The Doria were found by Hellbat, who brought them to
Deathsaurus in a plan to defeat Star Saber. After testing it on one of
the Dinoforce members, Deathsaurus decided to use them to rid him of his
foe. They started stealing large rocks from the desert, and when Star
Saber was on patrol, he noticed and contacted his fellow Cybertrons. He
learned that the desert he was patrolling housed some rather large oil
fields. Upon checking one of the craters, he set off a Destron trap.
Caught in a force field with rays of an unknown type, Star Saber was
trapped. Deathsaurus ordered Leozack to let the Doria loose, who started
attacking him. Meanwhile, Victory Leo, Jan, Laster, Blacker, Braver and
Hori are on their way to save Saber. The Cybertrons took on the
Destron defences while Victory Leo and Jan got through to Star Saber.
Victory Leo is attacked by the Doria, but Jan in his van is not being attacked.
Learning that the Doria were drawing heat energy from them, Victory Leo used his
"cold spray" to kill them. While outside, the other Cybertrons are attacked
by the bugs, where Hori with his mist sprayer kills them. Victory Leo
and Star Saber combine into Victory Saber, take on Deathsaurus, and
destroy their trap. Hellbat, holding a canister of the Doria, is shot at,
and the container breaks and he gets the bugs on him. The Doria haven't
been seen since, but we assume Hellbat was cured and the only remaining
insects are the ones on their planet of origin.
