Lithone

Note: There is debate over whether the name is actually Glithos, Glinthos, Glintos, Linthos, Lithos, etc. Likewise, Arblus (the spelling used in the comic adaptation) may be Arbulus, Morbolus, Morbius, or some other variant. [Ed: If space permits, I'll place a link here to a .WAV file of Kranix from the movie, screaming "I'm the last survivor of (planet name)! NOOOOOO!!!"]

Cartoon History (US):

Lithone was the planet shown being destroyed by Unicron at the beginning of Transformers: the Movie. Its inhabitants appeared primarily robotic and did not show evidence of any ability to transform. The only two referred to by name were Arblus and Kranix. Arblus was devoured by Unicron after his shuttle failed to escape. Kranix escaped only to be captured by the Quintessons and was fed to the Sharkticons.

[Ed: The following is information obtained from the Transformers Universe comic book entries on Arblus and Kranix. It is not truly canon but is allowed here due to the small amount of solid information we have on the Lithonians. Viewer discretion is advised. Some scenes may contain junk.]

The Lithonians transform into odd shuttle-like forms and are more emotionally and perhaps mentally advanced that most Transformers. They are also robotic, and the destruction of Kranix by the Quintessons may hint that they were also a Quintessonian creation, or perhaps an offshoot of the Transformer race.
