NOTABLE BECAUSE: During the height of the Republic, Slokek was one of the most powerful Jedi around. After the destruction of the Jedi Knights, he returned to Tatooine, where he spent much of his time using the Force to levitate sandcrawlers, in the hopes of impressing chicks. Never worked, though. Slokek was in the Mos Eisley cantina when Han Solo had his fateful run-in with Greedo; in fact, it was Slokek who saved Solo's life, using his Force powers to deflect Greedo's blaster bolt so that it missed Solo entirely. However, Slokek continues to be plagued by odd visions of that encounter--visions in which Greedo never fired at all. But that's just CRAZY TALK!
