NOTABLE BECAUSE: Houdinka gained a reputation for being the most skilled escape artist who's ever lived. He would perform his amazing feats for audiences all over Tatooine, raking in huge amounts of cash. In what was billed as his crowning achievement, his premiere escape, Houdinka had himself bound hand and foot, blindfolded, and sealed into a box filled with poisonous reptiles--with the box then dropped into the mouth of the Sarlacc. Of course, he died horribly in the escape attempt--but up until then, he was darn good.
