Moderately fatigued mean's that soldier's will take a -1d6 penalty to next roll, and move at half movement, untill rested. Severe fatigue mean's the army will take a -1d10 penalty to next roll, and move at 1/4 movement, untill rested. Example: Character 1(Army 1) find's that he has 300 soldiers, 100 3rd level fighter's, 100 elves(3rd level), 30 cleric's(6th level), 20 wizard's(5th level) and 50 more fighters(6th level). The character decides to break up the army into three group's. Group 1 : 100 third level fighters, Group 2: 100 Third level Elves, Group 3: 30 clerics, 20 wizard's , 50 fighters. The character then need's to figure out the dice he need's for each group. Group 1 hass 100 3rd level fighters he consult's the chart titled "level of army" and see's that 100 3rd level fighter's get one 1d20. He then figures the dice for group 2. Group 2 100 3rd level elves. Consulting the chart titled "With Different Races" the character find's that this group get's 1d20 + 1d4 to roll(if terrain is woodland +1d8 instead of the +1d4). Group 3 has a mixed contingent of soldier's. The 50 sixth level fighter's warrent 1d10(from the chart titled "Basic Rules") and 1d6(from the chart titled "Level of army"), the 30 sixth level clerics warrent 1d10(basic rules) and 1d4(the section titled if normal and magical soldier's mixed), group 3 also has 20 wizard's it get's 1d8(basic rules) and 1d6(normal/magical mixed). The games play of warsystem's is quite simple. Let's say that character 1's group 3(from above) get's attacked. He takes his dice(1d10,1d6,1d10,1d4,1d8,1d6) and rolls them adding up the sum of the roll's. Character 1's oppenent does the same. The army with the highest roll win's. The difference of the two roll's is taken and compared to the chart titled "result's" to get the specific's of the outcome. This end's the first 'battle' and the specific's are applies to the army involved. The process is then repeated. It is important to remember that the player can divide his army up as needed. In this example the PC had 300 soldier's and decided to divide his army into 3 100 soldier forces. The DM may also make any changes to this rule system that he see's fit.
