Joyfully my friends and I set forth towards - Roswell, New Mexico. Ian says that people say that aliens landed there once. Let's check it out, he says!
On our way to Roswell, we pass by White Sands Missile Base and National Monument. We decide to stop and see what it's all about.
It's hard to tell where the white sand stops and the snow begins. It looks like a big snowy beach. We pull in at sunset and get out for a walk. Here I am at White Sands!
I love this picture of White Sands that Carrie took!
We spent the night in the mountains of Ruidoso, New Mexico. My friends were afraid to drive in the snowy and icy mountains. The National Guard had been out a few days before to help rescue people and clear snow. So we stopped and stayed in a hotel full of skiers. We couldn't sleep that night, since we were at an elevation of 7500 feet. That night I realized I hadn't found any spiders at White Sands.
We were all tired and crabby the next morning (no sleep). Groggily we packed up the car and drove the next hour to Roswell. We ate a late breakfast and went shopping.
We also visited the UFO Museum and Research Center at Roswell. It tells the story of the alleged alien landing that occurred in the 1950's. People talk about their experiences with aliens and being "abducted."
Can you find me in this picture? Remember, I'm a spider, not an alien!

It was now time to leave, to return to Texas.
The answer to Scott's riddle is: Jerry!
