Snow was betrothed to the Vulcan female T'Kyra in 2351, when both were seven years of age.**
Parents David and T'Vek, and sister T'Sira were killed by members of a Terran supremacy organization in 2352, eight year old Snow being the only witness. Suspects were never found. Snow lived with various paternal relatives on Earth, until 2358 when custody was obtained by a maternal relative on Vulcan. In 2362, at age eighteen, Snow returned to Earth and took up residency at his late father's estate in Ireland.
In 2364, T'Kyra was killed when Orion pirates attacked the Vulcan ship she was passenger on. Snow remained comatose for fifteen days due to the abrupt severing of the telepathic betrothal bond. He joined Starfleet shortly thereafter, at age twenty.
