This week I would like to advise on making a custom Jix from the Star wars Shadows of the Empire Comic you will need:

  1. a POTF Luke Degobah.
  2. Dark Horse Shadows of the Empire comic issue #3
  3. Super Sculpey
  4. Acrylic Paint set
  5. Testors Model Master "Skin Tone Warm Tint
  6. Very fine Sharpie.
  7. masking tape
  8. Bic pen
  9. X-acto Knife

First open the figure. Then carve off luke's 70's hair. Get a chunk of Super Sculpey. Mold a Vest on to the torso to look like the one in the comic. Bake in a pre heated and turned off oven at 150degree,s Farenheit for 10-12 minites. Carefully remove and let cool completely. Now, sculpt some pecks and abs to make a more muscular Chest. Also, smooth out the head with sculpy and scratch in some hair lines and make a pony tail that you can glue on later. Now make some glove cuffs out of Sculpey. Bake again as before, don't forget the ponytail ! After it cools. paint the skin parts with the Testors enamel paint the hair and pony tail flat black, the eyes white with dark blue dots, and the vest and gloves brown. Take the Sharpest Sharpie you can find and draw eye brows and a tatoo like the comic. For the goggles and head band, cut thin strips of masking tape and paint them brown. wrap them around the head like a headband and let one dangle from the top right part of the face. Get the Bic pen and take the inside tube out, cut two little slivers of the top of the empty part of the tube, glue these above the forehead on the band to make the goggles. Use the comic as reference to detail your figure and viola your done. You might want to spray it with dullcote if your gonna play with it.
