We head towards the lake. Drake gets the feeling the lake is bigger than he can sense. In the water, there is a *very* powerful natural creature. Also, is a powerful fey. 12 miles away. In the outskirts of the forest, there is another powerful fey. Within 4 miles of the lake, he can sense numerous other fey. In addition, there is another creature there. He cannot sense any powerful plant creatures.
About 10 minutes out, we can see 15 wolves waiting. Thanks to Drake's invisibility to animals spell, we are invisible to the wolves. We walk around them.
We get closer to the lake. After martin casts a spell on bear, the invisibility to animals spell wears off. Henry moves forward, and catches his foot on a sharp stone sticking out of the ground, drawing blood. We all float above the ground to not catch the same thing.
Hana dies.
The fight continues and the enemies are defeated. They continue on to the lady of the lake, who is willing to ressurect Hana.
The gem is part of a weapon. It is a 3 part weapon. A gem, ring, and bracelet. The gemstone may fit in the ring or bracelet. It has not been assembled in a millenia. It is a sentient weapon and wielding it does come with a cost. It is a weapon of fire. To learn to wield it is a test of trials and tribulations. It has had many names, "the maiden's blade", "sword of justice", often referred to as the "rubyflame".
