Nice day, cool breeze. Next four days will pass fairly uneventfully.

Towards the evening, mid 70s, nice evening. Bear begins sniffing around, and notices wolf tracks from a migrating pack. The alpha male seems to have a branding, or scarring, on the pad of the paw (of a circle with claws). Henry thinks it could be another "them minus many". Speculation on what it could be, but remains unknown.

Black thunderclouds, winds high, coming straight from the west. Seems that it will be getting worse throughout the week. Hana has heard a lot about Dolgar's Hold, which is the name of the keep where we can take shelter. Stories say that just after the cataclysm, fairly large group of mercenaries erected a fortification there to shelter their families and over the years became a military outpost for Carse. It is not a strict military regiment, more of a place where people like to get stationed. Three days follow of driving rain and storms.

About 4 in the afternoon, single lone wagon is moving slowly ahead of us. The rider looks fairly familiar, like Illustrom (the old man we met on the road to Carse). Henry asks him to show him what he has for sale. He shows his items to the group. Laquavious purchases some items. Drake sells a long spear. We head into the keep. Doesn't seem to be highly guarded. We head to the tavern, and look for some rooms. Very warm within the tavern, large fire pit with beautiful worked stone around it. Henry inquires about any hobgoblin stories.

Come to an intersection where there are many tents with food, much like a festival. Group spends the day there, enjoying food and wares.

We head out, all a little poorer and slightly hungover.

We see the tracks of a group heading south, the people seem to be approx. 6' tall, 250 lbs. Could it be hobgoblins? Martin casts augury to find out what will happen should we follow the path. He is answered, "nothing". We follow the tracks, just in case.

we continue following, until the tracks abruptly stop.

Drake is told while foraging that the one that Martin was looking for, was a demonic cultist, and that he is in the area. That night, while we are sleeping, we are awakened by a group that has arrived to attack us. After realizing that we are not who they think we are, they stop. They were looking for Sartorious. They had tracked the amulet of wisdom that Martin had been wearing. The rest of the group consists of Jax Hroundl, the leader, the arcane man - Nysel Chelfield, the other cleric - Harn Feltros, the woman is Melody Fair.

We start heading east. As we travel, we can see a body on the side of the road. It appears to have been a heart attack, but there are burn marks a little farther down the road. The horse is turned to dust.
there is a missive from Brother Roberts in Torvendeen. (Torvenden is somewhere south of Narnev). Showing signs of an increasing amount of plague going through the village. they have recently quarantined the town, and are burying people at the rate of 4/week. Have begun to run low on supplies.
the this man was delivering it to perhaps the first ranking priest of Lathander. Slay living, death's touch, etc. could have affected this man. he is carrying A WAND. Henry uses it and food and drink appears from THE WAND. It is 1' long, oak with a hematite gem at the tip.
Martin flags down a passing caravan and interrogates them as they cower in fear.
Narnev City 9-10 days, Ostergarth 7 days

We hear someone approaching. Middle 30s, well dressed. Obviously takes good care of himself. comes looking for the gem that Hana is carrying. Henry describes a man who he says might have had it, says they were travelling towards the north.
8/30
We continue into the town, and see a barricade surrounding the town. There is an obviously expanding graveyard. A few of us head into the town to see if there is anything we can do. We talk to one of the men that remain, who tells us that Brother Robert is dead. "the source of the plague lies in a hidden crypt. Destroy the source and the plague can be cured forever".
We arrive at the temple, huge angel statue reaching towards the ceiling with golden armor (looks very much like the avenging angel). another sculpture of a midwife. On either side, staircase leading up to double doors. Upstairs, there are three zombies carrying things. Henry notices them and returns to tell the group.
We head down and fight the night stalker, and the death knight. Henry falls and then a short time later Martin also falls. Eventually both creatures die.
Henry and martin arrive at the Halls of the Dead; Martin is much more somber than Henry is.
