The following is addressed to the plural you, or to any one person reading this. I suppose. Just so you know, if you want to write, I'd like to read it. And I suppose that I'll say now that it will be free of consequences - at least really bad things... Unless of course you decide to be real stupid and write about your undying love for me, which isn't too big of a deal, unless you also want me to leave my husband for you, at which point I'll probably come after you. (Like with knives and guns and a variety of other weapons.) But, that's already happened once. So, what's the likelihood of it happening again. Ah, yes... the afore mentioned incident. Hmm. I don't really feel like writing about it right now. But maybe someday in the future I will. It's one of those things that would probably make a pretty good story. But it's also one of those painful memories. Besides, I don't really have to worry about telling my side of the story. It sounds like the other side will never get written. And now for the lighter side... Today is an interesting day. It's been below-freezing at night already, and here I am wanting to put on shorts and sandals. Because it's warm and I took a shower when I got up, my hair frizzed out and now it's trying to eat my head. I kid you not. Perhaps it's time to get it cut again. We went out to the DMV for a second time... This time we got my license and the new titles and plates for the cars. My picture is unpleasant. The nicest id photo that I've ever taken was the one for MCC, when they first got picture ids. That and my passport photo. I'll have to get a new one of those at some point. On the way to the DMV I saw a huge cluster of birch trees. They were all starting to turn yellow, and should all have completely turned in the next week. It reminded me of this picture, Allee des Alyscamps, by Van Gogh. I like that painting. I walked home from Chart after the trip to the DMV. It was a nice walk, less then 30 minutes. About like walking home from school, minus the creepy TA and the hill. They were doing some roadwork on the other side of the tracks, and they had a garden hose hooked up to a fire hydrant. That was odd. Hrm. Oh. And by the way. The more you learn about certain people, the more you wish you didn't know. While ignorance is bad, it's also comforting.
