Damn. I'm really pissed. If that's what I have to do, then maybe I'll just take medication... That's almost as bad as the MAOI food list which says no chocolate. Don't tell a depressed person that they can't eat chocolate!!

AVOID SUGAR: The boost of energy you get from sugar is quickly followed by fatigue and depression.

AVOID CAFFEINE: Like sugar, caffeine's energy boost is short-lived and once it ends the depressed person is worse off than before. Studies have shown that the more caffeine a depressed person takes, the worse their depression becomes.

Perhaps holy flying fuck is better. If I have to go off sugar and especially caffeine, my life will be quite miserable. Especially caffeine...avoiding that triggers migraines. I wanted to get this stupid thing under control without doctors or medication. But if that's what it's going to take, then I don't know anymore.

So, I can have caffeine, do nothing else, and get worse and worse... or, I can go off caffeine and get nasty migraines... or, I can go to the doctor and get medication. I hate doctors and I really don't want medication. Crap.

Alright. All of you who sit there and read this... I need some advice. I just don't know what to do. The sugar and caffeine thing scares me... last night I had too much sugar and was in what might be described as a manic state. (Ask Dan from Texas to be sure.) That thought is kind of frightening. I just don't know what to do.
