PLAY AT ANY TIME DURING YOUR TURN. Return any one card from your discard pile to your hand. You may also spend 8 D at this time to return a second card to your hand.

USES:

This is one of the most useful cards in the entire DT set (including expansions). Getting to return a card from the discard pile to your hand is incredibly useful, and the option to pull another for an additional 8D just makes it that much better. If you have nothing better to get back, you can make one of the cards a POSITIVE KARMA and actually make a profit of 2D. It should be noted that this card must now be annihilated (i.e. removed from play) after use, so you can no longer get an inifinited amount of D with two GIFTS OF FATE and a POSITIVE KARMA (I actually did that once). Despite that, it is still a great card.

COUNTER MEASURES:

MISCOMMUNICATION is, of course, the best weapon against this card. Other than that, there really isn't all that much you can do, which is actually another one of it's advantages, provided you're the one who plays it. ;)

COMBOS:

A SECOND CHANCE, which allows you to return annihilated cards to your draw pile is your best bet to get these cards back. Other than that, there isn't much you can do.
