*Sigh* Not much has happened that I've written about lately. Last week, I was sick for a while. Then, came a wonderful time...Thanksgiving Break! It was such a life saver! I really thought that with being sick and all the papers and work due, I wasn't going to make it...and then five blissful days without class. My mom and dad and I went to my brother's house for Thanksgiving, which was a lot of fun. I was impressed...he had even gotten rid of his Spongebob table cloth and had real cloth napkins for us. Mom had a great time teasing him about a girl he's been dating...and then wondered why he wasn't apt to let her meet Sharyn! Wow. Then, on Friday, we went to see Bill since he was singing and playing in a mall. It was really cool! He rocks my face off...I love that guy! I stayed there with him. Then on Saturday night, he sang at a cafe. Before that, though, it was wonderful! I had a paper to write, but I wrote my paper about Seabiscuit while I watched him and his sister decorate for Christmas. That made me so ready for the holidays! We just had a great time relaxing.
On Sunday night, I had to go back to school. As I was driving home, I found myself on a back road, crying out to God, asking him where he was. I really just wanted to see something to tell me that he loved me. Then, out of nowhere, it was a really clear sky, with beautiful stars. Right above the horizon, I saw a really bright shooting star - the first one I had ever seen! And then, the sky clouded up. I just kept thinking about the chorus from We Three Kings: Star of wonder, star of night, star of royal beauty bright. Yay God!
Now, I just have one last class left before the semester is over. Next week I have finals. It's crazy to think the semester is over, but as I was going through it, I never thought the end would come. It has been wonderful, and I have really regained my faith and love of God.
