The Valley of Death

Standing here on the ledge,
My brothers are all around me,
The others are already there,
waiting for Izikiel.

The officer walks behind us now,
presses the trigger,
I fall down to the valley,
I join the others,
Soon my brothers follow.

Suddenly the shooting stops,
Lunch time, they are eating,
We are laying in the valley.

Soon they'll finish and continue shooting,
untill the last of us will fall to the valley,
Then they will throw a grenade to the valley,
We are laying in the valley.

It's getting dark,
They need to go home,
To kiss their wives hello,
And eat dinner with their children.
We are laying in the valley.

Tomorrow they will bring the villagers,
They will put on us carbon acid,
Our bodies will burn and melt,
Then they will cover the valley with dirt.
We are laying in the valley.

When they will lose
You will find the valley,
You will put a fence around it,
You will put a stone to remember,
That we are laying in this valley.

But will you remember? Will you learn?
Will you stop the next valley from being dug?
Will you keep in mind what they wanted to erase?
That we are all the same flesh? the same kind? same race?

We are laying in the valley,
Don't forget that.
We are there.
