The Priestess Of Panormita by Aleister Crowley
(an excerpt only)

Now, at the crown of the year,
The decadent days of October,
I come to thee, God, without fear;
Pious, chaste, and sober,
I solemnly sacrifice
This first-flower of wine
For a vehicle of thy vice
As I am Thine to be mine.

For five in the year gone by
I pray Thee give to me one;
A lover stronger than I,
A moon to swallow the sun!
May he be like a lilywhite goat
Crisp as a thicket of thorns,
With a collar of gold for his throat,
A scarlet bow for his horns!

Here is where you meet the Lady behind the poetry. In case you have not figured it out on your own, I am one ever hopeful romantic. I believe in the Magick created between lovers. *grin* I do not always dwell in darkness, quite the contrary; I have been known to lie on the sunlit beach for hours with nothing between me and the sunlight but a bikini and suntan oil. But, in darkness I find the peace, comfort and quiet which are necessary for the wild work that I call Magick. Magick for healing, of course. To use the elemental spirits around us for anything less is my definition of sin against all the gods. The elementals are, to me, the definition of balance in nature. They are neither good nor evil and hence, easily impressed by the force of the human Will. To misguide them in a foul way is akin to misleading a child of innocence, thus angering the gods. Because the elementals are the most receptive aspect of nature, to me they are a comfort and easier for me to feel in the deep silence of the night. That is why I love the night; 'it comforts me when I am alone.'

......Below you will find some pictures of me, my lovely daughter and my best of friend's Arthyr the Wolf and pics of my best friends in the world. To my daughter, I am Mother and best friend, and she, a lovely 29 (Summer 2006)year old woman full of love and life. I myself, will soon be 48 and I am comfortable with that. Me, I heal the sick when the gods allow it. I spend most of my time with my friends and mom, who is the best roommate I've ever had, now that my wolf/dog, Arthyr has passed away. King Arthyr, Born 3-6-95 Died 6-1-06. After many years of living alone I had grown almost too accustomed to it. So, since I couldn't leave mom alone in that aweful place, Alabama, I just had to have her come and live with me. I have been all around these United States and though I love Soutern California best for it coastal waters, I will likely spend the twilight of my life here in Wisconsin. Born and raised in mid-Wisconsin, I shall always be a child of the changing seasons. But, no matter where I go, I find myself blessed with many good friends. I miss them very much when I have to leave them at a distance. But, More than ever, I am home, even in all it's glorious snow which to me, is totally refreshing! I live in a duplex apartment deep in the woods near a lake in a small resort town. I may miss my favorite ciy, Madison, but it's good to be back in the woods among the friendly "wild?" animals. Somehow I think it made bringing mom back from her retirement in Alabama was easier by choosing this area instead of the city.

These are our yard pets who come for the corn we put out, and they will stand there if there is none out and will not leave until we feed them... they are very spoiled now, not that we mind *grin*

My Most Favorite Author: C.S. Friedman
Favorite (living) Artist: Michael Whelan
Favorite Music: Gosmack, Pantera, Beethovan, Danny Elfman, Kate Bush, Rob Zombie and too many others to mention.
The same is true of Authors, there are too many to count but CSF is at the top of my list, then to be followed by George R.R Martin, Tom Clancy, Dale Brown and Clive Cussler, Tad Williams, Terry Goodkind and yes, David Drake, Wiess and Hickman and too many to list here. If you need an ongoing series try Martin first, "Song of Ice and Fire" is amazing and never a dull moment in any of the three out so far. Meanwhile Tad Williams became a bit wordy in the last volume I read called "Otherland",but, still a great finish to the story. while George R.R. Martin, who I now consider the best of series after having read the third novel of "Song of Ice and Fire." Lets just say I like an Author who can tell a good story and make sacrifices to surprise the reader to make it more real than the average book. Another good sign of a supreme talent is knowing when to finish it well and when it should end, not drag it on for need of a new start. I prefer these authors, save for the last two, they know when the "horse" has had it's run and it's time to call it a day.

Hope I didn't weary you too much. Please, be kind when you look upon me because I am merely me.(last update of this information:7.11.06)

My PalArthyrso cute
This is Arthyr, true to form, howling along with the sirens of the city since I took him from his blessèd woods. He is an Artic Wolf/Malemute Husky Hybrid, (7 years old now) and the best fur-bearing friend I have ever had :) Never believe the horror stories of Wolf Hybrid animals, they are the best animal companions a human can ever hope to know. And unless treated like 'just a dog' they will never become the scary wild beast you hear about in the news. Think of all the unreported domestic dog bites and you'll understand that the only reason people claim a wolf cannot be trusted are those who will not take the time to understand them or fools who think in terms of taming them. Dogs are unpredictable, a wolf is a pack animal and hence his behavior much easier to predict, if you are willing to learn. Would you "tame" your best friend to go against his/her nature? I didn't think so. However, they do not like to be left alone. The pack instinct is strong in that regard, so beware not using an indoor kennel while away, these animals are by definition pack animals and prone to 'seperation anxiety' and will shred your favorite things while you are away. They do outgrow this in time though. If they know they will not be left for too long. But, when young, 0-4 years, they feel safer kenneled while you are gone which, I think, speaks for itself of their fears. Having a wolf comapanion can enrich your life in ways I cannot even begin to explain here but, if you plan to try, prepare to be challenged everyday with an intellect as great as your own and a value system vastly superior.

Zoya in Alaskaher newest as and sponsor for her future racing
Next, Zoya, My Daughter, an international model, who has hung up the high heels of the fashion industry for the mukluks of mushing and now only models if it will aid her dream to race with the big time mushers in AK where she now seeks her destiny in the world of dog mushing in beautiful Alaska. She has her own mushing site up at http://www.dogsleddenali.com and is getting pretty well known in Alaska. She fell in love with racing teams of sleddogs in the sprint races in the midwest in winter but now she has hit the big time, hoping to do the long distance racing in March of 2003 or sooner working as an apprentice & dog handler to Bill Cotter. The first pic is with her 4 dog team with which she went from 15th place to 5th in her first 3 races, in her first year in northern Wisconsin and getting a write up on it all in the WI State Journal. The next pic is of a recent ad done in AK for one of her new sponsors. The next is just a shot taken by one of her many new friends there. My pride for this lovely woman is only exceeded by my love. No one can tell me the gods do not exist; I have the proof every time I look at her. She is officially entered in the 2007 Iditarod. Go to iditarod.com to look her up.
