Dark Prince

He came into the dream that night
Shadowed in the pale moonlight,
A dark, mysterious man in black,
His visage hidden from the light.

And in that moment I had known,
What the moonlight had not shown
Was that which was my destiny,
No longer did I feel alone.

But wandering there, through my dream
A man whose eyes did faintly gleam
Red in darkness, calling me,
To be eternally his Dark Queen.

I reached my arms out to him then
My Dark Prince, Lord of mortal men,
And bid him come to claim his own
That I would become one of them.

Immortal now, Like him am I
Eternal as the evening sky,
And like unto my love for him
