Our Magick
by J.Artemis
True love is magick, ever fair,
Sometimes fleeting, often rare;
But I have found mine heart in you,
My soul alive in love so true.
It feels as if I’ve always known,
This is what I would be shown
When I had reached the truth in me;
That you are my best mystery.
Surrender, sweet, and such that I,
Will likely swoon instead of sigh
When at last you take mine hand
To walk me ‘cross the Blessed sand
Where gods look ‘pon the world and see
Their plan, complete, for you and me.
Methinks their bliss will match our own
As we reap what they have sown.
Will the Muse be silent then?
Could she cease to move the pen?
That helped to bring about our meet
Or will she move it better, Sweet?
I think upon the many things
That we will find our love will bring
And wonder at this Magick here
As all the more becomes so clear.
It is a boon, this love we share
Its like I’ve not seen anywhere
And all the more, these gods I praise,
And will the rest of all my days.
