Ranger's Followers

I have a ranger in my BR campaign that is due to get followers soon. I tried using the standard tables (from both 1st and 2nd edition), yet had too many instances of gnomes and even a dragon. So to solve the problem of re-rollng until I found something suitible, I came up with this. I'd apreciate any feedback.

Notes:

The guide for Ranger's followers in the PHB (or 1st Ed DMG) is good for a generic campaign, but not so good for one based in Birthright. Missing races, monsters, etc. So, here's the table I came up with. It works fairly well, with some explanations:

Rangers in Cerilia , while still not in love with humanoids, do get along with good and neutral goblins, as mentioned in Ruins of Empire. They even train together. So, it's not too big a leap to include them. As elves tend to be rare, the number of them have been reduced. A (fairly bad) parallel would be how some American Indians befriended cowboys and army scouts in the old west. (Tonto and the lone Ranger, as it were)

I'm not sure if Pixies/Brownies exist in other BR campaigns, so I tentatively excluded them. The same goes for the Satyr and Centaur. I think they are un-BR like, so they don't exist in my game.

As for priests, I surmised the most common ones that would follow a Ranger in Annuire would be Cuiceans (sp?), with some Druids.

Special care (by the player) should be taken with the Nymph, Sylph, Owlbear, Treant - they are true wilderness beings.

Final Big Note: If a ranger is blooded, at least one follower should fit his bloodline!

It's actually fairly rare for Rangers to reach a high enough level to gain followers in Birthright, as it's fairly low powered world (ie, not 20th level store clerks like in FR).

Alternate Follower Attraction Table for Birthright:

6th level: 1
8th level: 1
10th level: The rest (roll 2d6 - 2)
