The Redemption : Part Two
Sisko keyed in the codes... "Access denied the message bleeped."
"The
other officers will need to be here," Kes realized.
"Then get them
here!" Sisko barked.
Suddenly Kira, Dax, Worf, O'Brien, and the rest were
there. "Sisko. Where are we?" they wondered, and Sisko explained to them
what had happened. They went to work. "Ready!" they said to Sisko. In
the classic Piccard gesture, Sisko said, "ENGAGE!"
Suddenly Kes was gone and they had control of theit body's again. However,
the borg cube was gone and all the borg were gone, but their implants
remained. A relief Starfleet Fleet just then emerged to bear on DS9,
with the Enterprise-E taking the lead.
As Sisko resumed his place as DS9 commander, he couldn't help but wonder
if their troubles were over.
"Not by a long shot..." he said to himself.
"Not by a long shot." There would be more fights. And the Borg would pay.
"I'll make them pay..."
