Some prefer to spend time with one Mark Sloan {Dick Van Dyke}. He's the fatherly figure on many a wild adventures. He is the head of internal medicine at Community General Hospital. He also teaches the interns so that they can one be outstandnig Doctors. He obviously does a good job, Jesse Travis is the only one we see on the show who does Doctorly stuff. Mark is also the medical consultant to the police department so he gets to "help" his son Steve out on a variety of cases. He has quite a knack for finding out who the killer is then coming up an elaborate plot to capture said killer. Unlike his son, Mark enjoys fancy and exotic foods and even likes to cook said foods. Mark is the father of the show, not only taking care of his own son, but Amanda, her son CJ and Jesse as well. He is muscialy talented and can sometimes be heard singing through the halls of Community General. That or rollar skating. His Jag often breaks down so he's forced to rollar skate. He did eventually get a new car that actually runs. Mark is just an all around nice guy willing to and goes out of his way to help anyone in trouble.
