Once upon a time, three people met over the internet in their mutual ferver for the same television show "Diagnosis Murder". They had lovely time meeting every night and chatting.

One day, they had an idea. Hey why don't we actually get together and meet? And it was so.
The three met in Nashville the weekend of July 9, 10 and 11. Since it rained the entire weekend (and hasn't rained in the state of Tennessee substantially since) they didn't have much choice other then to rent a VCR and watch videos for hte most part. Oh the humanity!!!!!!!!!!! Although they did hit down town and hang out the first night. And it was good.
Melissa, being a native of Memphis, generally referred to as the BBQ capital of America, suggested the fine establishment of Corky's for lunch. It was fine BBQ. Everyone was overwhelmed with the wonderfulness of it and were filled with resentment that their towns did not have such an establishment.
There was a nice little Mexican bar downstairs and we thaught we would have one of the GIANT margaritas they offered. They were wonderful. They were big. They were very big as you can see. To tell you of their affects, one of us managed a few sips { and the other two finished it for her} one of us had to be practically be carried upstairs, and one of us was juuuust fine. But of course which was which, is our little secret. Oh by the way left to right, me (Melissa), Katherine and Terri. One of the restaraunt workers was nice enough to snap a picture of the three of us and our sacred margaritas. And yes, those huge Margaritas were finishable. We also had chips and salsa to go along with it. And being an authentic Mexican establishment, the salsa was VERY HOT!!!! good thing we had enough margarita to help with that problem a bit. Another fun and exciting vetnure was a trip to Big K-Mart to stock up on supplies. You know the basics, oreos, beer, and coffee. Suffiently stocked, we returned to our room and worked on the The Saga Let me tell ya, doing it on the computer is one thing, but writing on it in person, with beer and oreos is another fun and excting eperience all together. Other fun and exitement that could probably only happen to us...... one of the nights I went to Sonic to get dinner, and my battery proceded to die, right there at the drive up. Luckily there was a cop parked right next to me {unforutnatly no Steve} and there was an auto parts store right across the street. Also, I injured my finger trying to get teh drunk open, and there was no Dr. Travis. Oh the humanity!!!! But Kath and Terri came to save me! Got a nifty car air freshener too. On sunday night we got to frolic at the airport when we took Terri to catch her flight. That's always fun. So sunday night it was just me and Kath left in the hotel room as the weather was rainy and neither of us really wanted to drive to our respective ends of the states in the rain. So we hung out and watched videos. (And the Practice so I could get a Dylan McDermott fix). Well while we were enthralled with the TV, something went flying across the room. Something in the way of very big. After we stopped screaming, we walked over and found that one of the fan blades had broken off. Then we laughed hysterically and laughed hysterically down to the lobby to tell the desk person. Then Terri called to tell us she made it home all right and the phone kept cutting off and we were telling her about the fan blade to which she declared she just can't leave us alone for any amount of time. She's right of course!! It wasn't all fun and games. Most of the staff was not English speaking so we got a quick lesson in Spanish. And of all things, some how that door sign ended up in my guitar case on my way out the door. No idea how that occured. We also spent an afternoon at the mall spending money and drinking cappucinos.
