Jyam's Seanchan Parents were killed in a battle at Saldaea. The young child was adopted by a passing Kandoran merchant, then adopted again upon reaching Arafel. He was taught that the only Enemy truly worth fighting is the Dark One and his minions. Relatively happy in his fight against the Blight, Jyam found himself entranced by Yinoli Sedai, and her plans for preparing the world for the Last Battle. Within a year of meeting her, he had proven himself worthy to be bonded as Gaidin, and has since served her loyally.

Personality:

    Straight forward and serious, jokes tend to pass over his head. His two missions in life are to survive to Tarmon Gai'don, and to make sure his Aes
Sedai lives to see the last battle as well. Jyam has little patience with women, though a surprising amount with young men training for battle.

Physical Description:

    Jyam is fairly tall, about the size of a short Aiel. He has the dark hair and light skin of a Seanchan, which is fits since both of his parents ARE Seanchan. His clothing however is Arafellin, down to the two swords strapped to his back. He has no beard, never having grown facial hair at all, and has had to make up for it by earning his way to lade master.
